Inspired by Jefra Linn

Looking at a photograph gives you the unique perspective of seeing how that photographer views the world.  I believe there is a photographer in all of us; that part of us itching to capture the beautiful way we see the world so that we can share it.

Jefra1

Jefra is a photographer, like no other.  I love her wild, free style.  Jefra uses light like she owns it.  Often her subjects are drowning in light.  I love this newborn pic Jefra took; looks like the babe is held in front of heaven’s open doorway.

Jefra2

Jefra has truly taken the “rules” of photography & thrown them out the window.  The image may not be entirely in focus and the light might blow out some definition to the subject, but that’s all part of this artist’s masterpiece.

Jefra 3

Jefra isn’t out there seeking to take photographs that people want to see.  She’s out there capturing the world as SHE sees it.  She’s daring to be bold & unique and capture that forever.  Referring to Jefra’s style & photography, her friend, Rhonna, recently said that whenever she & her family go to take a picture, they say “pull a Jefra.”

Jefra 5

Are you leaving your unique imprint on the world or are you limiting yourself by rules and criticism?  Today are you uniquely expressing yourself like only you can?
