Pendant Keepsakes

Glitzy Glass Stars PendantsI love these gorgeous pendants from Glitzy Glass Stars!!  Her unique designs are such a treat to wear.  I have her Audrey Hepburn pendant & it’s my favorite piece of jewelry – I wear it every chance I get.  Jen – the mom behind Glitzy Glass Stars – has told me that she loves to do custom orders.  She made a beautiful keepsake pendant for Amy, the mom behind Lexi Lynne Designs, when Amy lost her baby at birth.  Amy treasures her pendant & wears it often.  Jen’s told me that she has made the pendants using pieces of heirloom, antique lace & other precious embellishments & photos.  My daughters are both addicted to their blankies & I’ve decided that I want to cut a chunk out of their blankets & send it to Jen for her to make some lovely pendants for them.

We want to open up Jen’s custom pendant section in the store, but want to make sure it’s what YOU want.  Leave us a comment here, telling us what you would make into a custom pendant & how badly you want it.  We’ll choose a winner from the comments to have their dream pendant become a reality!!!

Contest ends June 13th at midnight MST – winner announced Monday by midnight MST.

daffodils and ladybugs since they are two of my obsessions like a ladybug on a daffodil or just a ladybug i guess since they are signs of good luck.

I would make matching pendants, one for me and one for my good friend LeShan. They would each have our initial on it and then some sort of Italian flare to it. Why? Because in six years when we turn 40 we plan to celebrate our 40th birthdays (and 17 years of friendship) with a cooking tour in Italy!

I love this idea. I would like some created with pieces of my children’s favorite dresses or blankets, so I could always be reminded of this precious time when they’re babies.

I would love to see Jen create a pearl necklace with a pendant that has a scripted monogram made with my 3 kids’ first initials, preferably with a brown and pink background of some sort ….or any color(s) she deems best…..or maybe the monogram with light fingerprints in the background???? The possibilities are endless…..

I love these pendants! I have seen Amy’s and it is beautiful! I would love to have one with a black and white picture of my hubby and I from our wedding on one side and a peice of my daughter’s blessing gown fabric on the other (I have scraps) With a purple butterfly on the side with her fabric to represent new beginnings and blue topaz and aqua marine (like) stones on the side with the wedding pic for mine and my husband’s birth stones

What a great idea. Obviously custom pendants would be a big hit!! I would want something very zen and earthy–maybe a photo of a river on one side since my husband and I met working as river guides and then a photo looking up at the sky through the leaves of a tree. That’s what comes to mind first.
