I must admit that I am BEYOND EXCITED for the new Twilight movie, New Moon!!! It comes to theaters on November 20 & I’m sooooooo excited. In some ways I feel a little lame & silly for saying that, but oh well. I thoroughly enjoyed the books & fell in love with the characters. We thought it would be fun to hype up the movie a bit, highlighting some party ideas.

This holiday season we’re aligning with other fabulous mom-promoting sites to bring together the “Buy MomMade” movement. While most seasons we all do our own promoting for the moms affiliated with our sites, this year we thought it would be EVEN more helpful to moms to pool our efforts & really get people excited to support moms & especially “mompreneurs.”

We’ll each be focusing on bringing as much business & exposure to mompreneurs this holiday season (& beyond) as possible. What are the benefits to the average holiday shopper? You’ll truly have the benefit of having everything all in one place, making your holiday shopping much easier.

There’s SOOOOO much that is left to be revealed with this project also!!! I can hardly stand it! So stinkin’ exciting!!!

We thought we’d spread the love, too, & give all you lovely female designers out there the chance to design our logo, blog header & blog button ad. I’ll also be doing a feature about the winner on this blog.

Fall Girls’ Fashion

Recently I had the great pleasure of trying out the Bugs ‘N’ Bees dresses on my girls. They are so adorable in real life!!! I completely fell in love with how I could take the same dress & use it in so many ways. I had my girls’ pictures taken in them & thought they turned out so fun!

My older daughter is quite a sassy girl. She loves her black boots – she’d wear them all day, every day if I let her. She’s also a big PINK (the color, not the singer) lover, so she has just died over her “pretty, pink dress.” For her pics I put her dress together with a 3/4 length sleeve-shirt and, of course, her sassy black boots. She thought the ribbons tying the dress over her shoulders were sooooooo fabulously-fancy, too!

My baby also seemed to like her dress. She’s still too small for color preference (thank goodness), so I got to choose this lovely cream-colored dress for her. I paired her dress with jeans & a short-sleeve shirt. She gets annoyed with dresses that are too flouncy and that restrict her movements much, but she seemed completely comfortable in this dress. Truly, her dress was worn more like a shirt or smock since it was over the jeans, but she’s also worn the dress as just a dress to church.

As the weather is turning colder I’m planning to have the girls wear their Bugs ‘N’ Bees dresses with leggings and long-sleeve shirts, possibly even turtle-necks. I just love how these dresses are so versatile. I feel like they’re very worth the money since you can use them in so many different ways in every season. For summer, the dresses would be nice and cool with just a short-sleeve shirt, tank or no shirt underneath.
